CNN is reporting that John McCain has chosen Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin for his VP slot. The first term Alaskan Senator is, if you ask us, the perfect choice: A Washington outsider whose brief political career includes ethics reforms and helping low-income families. This is the perfect counterpoint to Washington insider Joe “bin” Biden, who has spent so much time in Washington that he doesn’t even know how to drive out, he has to take the train!
McCain/Palin is the ticket needed to bring just what Washington needs: Change in the VP slot, where it can’t do any harm!

We here at COUGAR HQ like Biden. He is the perfect picture of what it means to be an old grumpy rich white democrat. This Obama fellow… well, he’s a bit too “different.” Where we come from change=scary. McCain is just a COUG, and Palin is just C. It’s a tough call. We have yet to officially endorse a candidate, and we will continue to abstain from endorsing a candidate until a media circus surrounds this site and demands that we make our choice known.

Can’t believe that Obama’s group is attacking Palin for “lack of experience”. She has executive, (making decisions)he has limited senatorial, (listening to speeches by other senators) She’s firm in her convictions, he’s all over the place, we haven’t a clue what he really thinks. The funniest comment I heard by an Obama supporter, “he looks presidential”. That means if I “look like an accountant or engineer” I can be one. WOW
